How Delaware taxes your paycheck

Delaware's annualized payroll method subtracts its state standard deduction, applies rates from 0% to 6.6%, then reduces the result by $110 for each withholding allowance. The Department of Revenue continues to publish these schedules for 2026.

Delaware Paid Leave contributions are separate. Employers with 10-24 employees generally provide parental coverage only; those with 25 or more generally provide full coverage. The calculator defaults to the maximum employee half of full coverage and offers parental-only or no employee contribution.
