How Oklahoma taxes your paycheck

Oklahoma's 2026 payroll tables have a zero-withholding band followed by 2.5%, 3.5% and 4.5% bands. The table already includes its base payroll deduction; the calculator subtracts only the separate OK-W-4 allowance amount before using the table.

Oklahoma rounds each paycheck withholding to a whole dollar. The state certificate has single, married and married-at-the-higher-single-rate choices, so an unmarried head of household uses the single payroll schedule.

Common paycheck questions

Why can the result differ from a simple annual tax calculation?

Oklahoma publishes payroll-period thresholds and base tax amounts and requires whole-dollar rounding. This calculator uses those published payroll values.

Is there a separate head-of-household payroll schedule?

The state withholding certificate and 2026 tables provide single and married schedules. Unmarried employees use single; final-return deductions can differ.

How accurate is this Oklahoma paycheck calculator?

It estimates regular wages using official 2026 withholding rules and the assumptions shown. Bonuses, multiple jobs, credits, employer plans and year-to-date pay can change actual checks. Compare the result with your pay stub and withholding certificates.
